Nothing says serene like a trip to the spa…and this Serenity Washcloth pattern will transport you to spa luxury!  An easy crochet pattern that is elegant & sized a whopping 11 1/4” x 11 1/4”.

Using Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton Yarn, with the glossy sheen, you will love how your stitches are pronounced!  The colors shown in my pictures are Lilac & Ecru.

 
Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton Yarn is a worsted-weight, mercerized 100% natural fiber yarn.  I have never seen a mercerized cotton yarn that looks so elegant.  I love it!

SKILL LEVEL:  Easy

GAUGE:       Approx. 10 ¼ ST x 9 Rows

HOOK:          G/4.0 mm (Or size needed to obtain gauge)

YARN:           1 Skein (3.5 oz.)  Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton Yarn.  (Pattern uses 2.75 oz.)

Colors Shown:  Ecru & Lilac

SIZE:              11 ¼” x 11 ¼”

  •  SC/DC = SC & DC in the same ST.

 NOTES: 

  • The CH 1 at beginning of each rows does not count as a stitch.
  • If you want to make your washcloth a different size, start with an even number of stitches.
  • Directions on making washcloth in 2 colors is at the end of the pattern.

OPTIONAL BORDER: 

  • Do not turn work.
  • CH 1. SL ST in last SC made.
  • Crocheting down longer side of washcloth SL ST in FLO of each ST.
  • In each corner [SL ST, CH 1, SL ST].
  • Continue around entire washcloth. SL ST in last ST.
  • Fasten off & weave in ends.

To Make Washcloth in 2 Colors: 

  • Crochet rows 1 – 15 in MC.
  • Crochet Rows 16 – 20 in CC.
  • Crochet Rows 21 – 35 in MC.
