About SouthPaw Stitchery

I have loved crocheting for over 40 years. As a true “southpaw”, learning to do everything was extra challenging – that included learning how to crochet. My aunt, who could knit and crochet anything & everything – started teaching me to crochet when I was just a little girl. Frustrated, we both began crying as the process was not an easy one but persistence paid off & I learned how to crochet!

My aunt recently passed away & I think about her every time I pick up a crochet needle & yarn to create something beautiful. Thanks to her I have cultivated a love for an art that has spanned decades.

I am a current member of the well-established Crochet Guild of America organization.
